Teaching Assistant (Learning Partner) – SEN Support Position: Teaching Assistant (Learning Partner) Specialism: SEN (Special Educational Needs) Location: Secondary School (Year 7 – 11) Start Date: February Half Term (earlier start possible) Contract: Temporary to Permanent Salary: £22,000 per annum (subject to experience and qualifications) Are you passionate about supporting young people to reach their full potential? If so, we want to hear from you We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant (Learning Partner) to join our supportive and dynamic team. This full-time role involves working closely with students in Years 7 to 11, helping them to achieve success in their learning journey. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to students with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met. Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to deliver engaging lessons. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to staff and parents as required. Assist in the preparation of classroom activities and materials. What We’re Looking For: Previous experience working with students with SEN (preferred but not essential). A genuine passion for education and supporting young people. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive and flexible approach to working in a school setting. Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training.
