Art Teacher (0.8 FTE) - Glossop Education Personnel are working closely with a school in Glossop who are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join their dedicated team for a Maternity Cover. We are looking for a passionate educator who is committed to inspiring creativity and developing artistic skills in our students. Art Teacher – 0.8 FTE (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) Start January 2024 Maternity Cover Pay £130-£230 daily QTS is desirable, minimum 6months teaching experience in UK secondary schools Contract: 0.8 FTE (4 days per week) Key Responsibilities: Planning and delivering engaging art lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 Setting and marking work to a high standard Encouraging students to develop their artistic talents and critical thinking skills Supporting students in preparing for GCSE Art and Design Contributing to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Strong knowledge of the Art and Design curriculum Excellent classroom management skills A passion for art and a commitment to professional development Experience working in a secondary school setting (preferred) Teachers wishing to apply for the post should submit an up-to-date CV to Amy at Education Personnel for consideration; or contact Education Personnel for more information on vacancies (phone number removed)
