Ridgeway and Co are proud to present their latest role for one of our most prestigious clients, a leading Groundworks contractor based in Hertfordshire paying up to £60,000.00 Previous experience working for a Groundwork's / RC Frame Company is essential We are looking to recruit a health and safety advisor who will able to offer comprehensive health and safety guidance and training to our operatives on site. This role entails overseeing the organisation, delivery, and facilitation of inductions, refresher training, and toolbox talks, ensuring their effectiveness and adherence to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with HSE legislation, industry standards, and best practices. Implement and monitor health, safety, environmental, and quality assurance policies and procedures. Provide leadership and mentorship to foster a culture of safety and compliance. Conduct risk assessments and establish effective control measures. Deliver training and guidance to staff on HSEQ matters. Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach to HSEQ management. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum NEBOSH Certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Occupational Health and Safety (or higher). Sound knowledge of HSE legislation, industry standards, and best practices. Minimum 2 years’ experience as a HSE Advisor in Groundwork's / RC Frame. Must have a valid CSCS/CCDO card. IOSH accreditation. Strong leadership, mentoring, and people management skills. Full UK Driving Licence. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
