Inventory Controller Sector Manufacturing/ Engineering Location : Norfolk Type : Full-time, Permanent Working Hours : Monday to Friday, Days (Flexibility for occasional overtime) Salary : From £28,000p/a DOE Are you an experienced Inventory Controller or have a background in stock tracking? This opportunity is suited towards a professional looking to grow within a forward-thinking business looking to further develop its internal processes. The Role: The Inventory Controller will handle tasks ranging from stock counting and inventory recording to assisting with inventory analysis and reporting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in inventory management processes. Key Responsibilities: Perform stock and cycle counts for accurate tracking. Help receive, label, store materials, and update inventory records. Identify and report stock discrepancies, ensuring quality checks are met. Monitor inventory levels and report low stock. Maintain storage practices to reduce waste and preserve materials. Use inventory software for tracking and movements. Keep stock records accurate and assist with data entry. Coordinate with production and procurement teams for materials. Help prepare materials for production. Work with the supply chain team to track shipments and update stock. Report hazards or non-compliance issues. What We're Looking For: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an inventory, stock control, or warehouse role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with inventory management software. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow processes accurately. Physical ability to lift, move, and handle components and materials as needed. Driving Licence Desirable Qualifications: Forklift Licence (counterbalance) First Aid and Fire Warden training.
