Building Surveyor - Accessibility schemes, 6-Month Interim Contract, £350 - £450 p/day PAYE/Umbrella Your new company We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Building Surveyor to join a Local Authority team in London. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing, planning, and implementing accessibility improvements in various non-housing properties. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the built environment and contribute to a more inclusive society. Your new role Conduct detailed surveys of offices, commercial spaces, and other non-housing properties to assess accessibility needs. Develop and implement accessibility improvement plans in compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accessibility considerations are integrated into design and construction processes. Provide expert advice on accessibility issues and best practices. Prepare detailed reports and documentation for clients and regulatory bodies. Monitor and manage project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. What you'll need to succeed MRICS, MCIOB, or NRAC qualifications are essential. Proven experience in building surveying, with a focus on accessibility schemes. Strong knowledge of accessibility regulations and standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
