Streetworks Planner

Future Build Recruitment are looking for a Streetworks Planner to join a Civil Engineering and Utilities Contractor based in Portsmouth. This is a full-time, office-based role where you’ll play a key part in managing all aspects of streetworks planning and permitting to ensure project execution. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Project Manager to plan and schedule work. Coordinate with managers, supervisors, and key stakeholders to align on project requirements. Communicate with Highway Authorities, Traffic Management companies, and attend site meetings when required. Manage applications for opening and closing Streetworks permits. Handle Temporary Traffic Road Orders (TTRO), and manage parking, bus stop, loading bay, and taxi rank suspensions. Record and track registrations, defects, and fixed penalty notices. Ensure site teams have up-to-date permit numbers and conditions. Experience Required: Experience in a similar role is advantageous, but comprehensive training will be provided. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong skills in preparing and delivering presentations. Excellent report-writing and communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders. A self-motivated individual who communicates confidently and sets a high standard in safety and compliance.
