Position Overview: The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for ensuring the accomplishment of the assigned projects, being them related to: Revise and refine existing documentation (technical specs, drawings, Bill of materials, etc.) pertaining to ongoing projects. Cover all project phases in support to Project Managers: Feasibility, Basic, Front-End and Detailed engineering. Issue Engineering specifications to suit Project needs for skid applications. Review design documents prepared by engineering contractors: prepare/revise valve and equipment datasheets, line list, etc. Reviewing and checking documentation from subcontractors, such as piping isometric, skid structural base and platform, pipe support, skid lifting arrangement drawings, etc. Issue/revise Project documentation (e.g., P&ID, Piping layout, etc.) to support Procurement and Construction. Interface and coordinate with partners and contractors. Manage deadlines and stakeholder expectations. Coordinate with internal team and outsourcing (e.g., engineering firms). Attend site surveys and meetings with clients and/or contractors. Support project management for schedule, budget, general organization, etc. Ensure work is done according to the pertaining QH&SE requirements. Keep team and stakeholders informed and updated on status. Manage the communication and reporting related to project progresses, goals and milestones. Review and check all fabrication drawings from subcontractors to ensure conformance to project requirements. Minimum Requirements: At least Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. At least 2-3 years as Mechanical/Piping Engineer; experience in static equipment/piping/skid design is a plus. Knowledge of piping modeling software (e.g., Autodesk Plant 3D), AutoCAD Package, MS Office (Project included), and Outlook. Conversant with PED, ASME, ASTM, Piping & structure Codes and other international codes and standards. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English. Strong attention to detail, confident, assertive, and goal-oriented. Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines. Experience in managing kick-off/pre-inspection meetings, Factory/Site Acceptance Tests, commissioning, and start-up activities. Familiarity with specific EHS and pertaining regulations.
