MISSION Reporting to the Senior Business Lawyer, this role will provide legal advice to the different business areas, particularly concerning the various aspects of renewable energy projects development, ensuring that the operations carried out in the company are in strict compliance with the law. RESPONSIBILITIES Legal Support: Autonomously provide comprehensive legal support to all aspects related to the development of renewable energy projects. Offer legal advice concerning administrative law, real estate, and commercial law. Monitor and interpret laws and regulations that may impact the company, particularly in corporate and commercial matters. Support the rest of the team in connection with authorization procedures, bidding processes, and land acquisitions. Support the legal counsel in M&A transactions, the negotiation of project contracts (such as PPA, EPC, O&M, development agreements, and others), and in project finance. Contract Management: Independently draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements necessary for the development of renewable energy projects and, in general, for the company’s operations. Participate in multidisciplinary teams to prepare bids and oversee the legal aspects of project execution from inception to completion. Litigation and Risk Management: Coordinate and monitor litigation processes in collaboration with external advisors. Identify and assess legal risks, providing timely risk reports to management. Training and Awareness: Identify legal training needs for employees and organize training sessions to enhance compliance awareness. Provide guidance and support on legal matters to all levels of the organization. External Relations: Manage relationships with external law firms and oversee the outsourcing of legal services. Represent the company in legal matters with external stakeholders and regulatory bodies. JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in similar roles in the renewable energy sector.
