SOMEC SINTESI is a company that provides refurbishment and maintenance services for glazing systems on cruise ships, for cruise operators based in the European Union. Position Supervises and coordinates HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) activities in ship refitting projects. Implements and updates safety plans (POS) and environmental operational plans. Monitors compliance with national and international safety and environmental regulations (e.g., D.Lgs. 81/2008). Conducts internal and external HSE audits with regular reporting. Provides training and raises awareness among staff and subcontractors on safety and environmental topics. Manages risk assessments (DVR) and the implementation of mitigation measures. Coordinates emergency management and incident handling, including root cause analysis and the development of corrective actions. Collaborates with the technical team to identify innovative safety solutions for ship refitting works. Requirements At least 3 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in the naval or industrial sector. In-depth knowledge of Italian and European health, safety, and environmental regulations. ASPP (Assistant to the Prevention and Protection Service) certification or equivalent. Familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 management systems. Good written and spoken English (at least B2 level). Availability for long-term business trips within Italy and abroad.
