Transportation & Logistics Commodity Manager

Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities: • Manage the contracts for logistics services, road, air and sea transportation, 3PL contracts and warehouses in an international context. • Conduct negotiations with suppliers and logistics partners to secure the best contractual terms, both in terms of costs and delivery times. • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). • Collaborate with internal departments (Logistics, Production, Supply Chain) to align company needs with transportation and logistics solutions. • Identify opportunities for cost reduction within the global logistics network. • Coordinate supplier audits to ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards and company policies. • Actively collaborate with Logistics & Transportation teams to manage cross-border projects and develop continuous improvement strategies for the supply chain. • Stay up to date with market trends and innovations in the logistics and transportation sector, identifying new solutions that provide competitive advantages to the company. Requirements: • At least 5 years of experience in roles such as Commodity Manager, Procurement or Purchasing in the logistics, transportation or 3PL sectors, with a focus on international operations. • In-depth knowledge of transportation and logistics market dynamics, including contracts with 3PL service providers. • Advanced negotiation skills, with experience in managing complex negotiations and long-term contracts. • Cost analysis and budget management skills, with experience in reducing costs through supply chain optimization. • Fluent in English and French, both spoken and written, to manage communications and negotiations with international partners. • Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent priority management skills.
