Data Analyst

Job Title : Data Analyst (Contractual) Location : Pan India (Hybrid Work Model) Experience : 8 Years About the Role : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst to join our team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data warehousing, data modeling, and data analysis techniques. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and analytical skills to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets. Key Responsibilities : - Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions. - Design and develop data models, including dimensional and Data Vault 2.0 models. - Conduct data profiling, data quality assessments, and data cleansing activities. - Perform data analysis and generate insightful reports and visualizations. - Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory. - Extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses (Snowflake). - Optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability. - Work with relational and cloud databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake). - Write and optimize complex SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts. - Leverage DevOps tools (Octopus, Jenkins, GitLab) for CI/CD and automation. - Implement and maintain data pipelines and processes using automation techniques. - Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions. Required Skills : - Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques. - Expert-level skills in PL/SQL scripting. - Experience with Azure Data Factory. - Good working experience with relational/cloud databases (MS SQL/Oracle/Snowflake). - Proficiency in Python scripting. Good to Have Skills : - Data Vault 2.0 experience(Trainable) - Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau). - Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP). - Experience with Agile methodologies (ref:hirist.tech)
