Job Title: Technologist Job Specialty: Computed Tomography (CT) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid - 5x8 - 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday to Friday Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1-year experience as a registered radiology technologist, CT tech experience required. License: Active state license with Fluoro required. Certifications: Current in R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT), TMB, and BLS Must-Have: Experience with Toshiba/Canon CT scanners; candidates must live 100 miles away from the facility Job Description: - Operate Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment and processors. - Analyze body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors and position the body accurately. - Review physicians' orders and obtain pertinent clinical data to consistently produce high-quality radiographs. - Minimize unnecessary radiation exposure to patients and self. - Assist physicians during procedures, including room preparation, managing supplies, and responding to contrast reactions and codes. - Schedule and complete exams and enter correct charge codes as needed. On Call: Saturday 7 AM - Sunday 7 AM (24 hours), Sunday 7 AM - Monday 7 AM (24 hours)
