Job Title: X-Ray Technician Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid 4x9.5-Hour (13:30 - 23:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: OR License required, submissions can be made with pending status Certifications: Not specified Must-Have: EPIC charting experience Job Description: - Position does not float between units. - No on-call requirement. - Weekends are required. - Block schedules are not required. - Schedule consists of four 9-hour shifts: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday from 13:30 to 23:00. - Type of Facility: Short-term acute care. - Teaching hospital with 536 total staff beds. - Scrub color: Any color for general areas; specific color provided for OR/Cath Lab. - Must work three out of five major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day. - Candidates will float within the hospital or to affiliated hospitals nearby as needed. - Communication devices required for assignment will be supplied. If needed, reimbursement for work-related cell phone use is available. - Modules average 16 hours; over 20 hours requires approval. Modules are completed pre-start and annually. - Orientation: 40 hours non-billable.
