Position: Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant Location: Westminster, NW8 Pay Rate: £95-£105 per day Contract: Long-term to Permanent Work Hours: Full Time Start Date: ASAP Are you a passionate and motivated Psychology Graduate with a genuine desire to support children with Special Educational Needs in a SEN school setting? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the support staff team at a fantastic SEN school in the Westminster area. We are looking for a committed and proactive candidate asap. Throughout the academic year, there is potential for the right candidate to transition into a permanent position with the secondary school supporting children with SEN. Responsibilities: Provide personalised SEN support to children with special educational needs, focusing on their academic, social, and emotional development. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to create tailored learning plans. Implement interventions to address behavioural challenges and enhance learning outcomes. Conduct assessments to monitor progress and evaluate intervention effectiveness. Deliver one-on-one and small group sessions to develop essential skills. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field. Prior experience in special education or a similar setting is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
