We are looking for someone who has a similar skills set, customs or from a shipping background. PLEASE NOTE DUE TO THE CHRISTMAS BREAK CV'S WILL BE SCREENED BY THE CLIENT IN THE NEW YEAR The Role Daily communication with clients from shipping stage to final delivery Day to day import ocean freight operations Import Customs processes and formalities Building and maintaining client relations for continued business with customers Arranging final mile delivery requirements with our third-party suppliers, and in-house Transport, Fulfilment and Warehousing teams Supporting customers with general customs advice Identifying clients who will benefit from using Compass (online tracking portal) Creation of customs and import ocean documents Working with HMRC and other customs authorities Skills Performing Import Customs clearances (IPR, Bonded, Home-Use) Competence in handling/submitting additional customs documentation, certificates or licences as required by regulatory bodies such as Port Health.
