Senior Care Worker

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Senior Care Assistant to join an Adults Residential Care Home on an initial 3-6 month temporary contract on a full-time basis. The Role As an Agency Care Officer / Senior Care Assistant you will lead a team of care workers over a shift and participates in the delivery of care for people with acute and complex needs. This includes: Giving medications to residents Manage the care team on duty Telephone calls Mange the shift safely and ensure safe practise and care is given at all times Update care records using online care system The role involves working across different shifts patters to ensure that residents are supported on a 24/7 basis. Requirements: Experience of leading a team of care worker in delivering care and support. Extensive experience of providing personal care and support to people. Knowledge and experience of delivering effective person-centred care, including dignity, respect, privacy, independence, and choice. Able to communicate persuasively with compassion, empathy, and respect. Able to plan, prioritise tasks and actions for self and team across a shift.
