The Associate Building Surveyor Role The successful Associate Building Surveyor will deliver a range of professional and project-related services for commercial properties, including design, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment. In addition to client-facing responsibilities, you'll play a key role in supporting junior surveyors, contributing to their development, and eventually stepping into a direct management position within the team. Key responsibilities include: Providing a full range of Building Surveying services for commercial property projects. Offering expertise in defect diagnosis, CDM Regulations 2015, and Building Regulation legislation. Managing Party Wall matters and delivering detailed, high-quality reports. Collaborating with the team to drive growth and success. Mentoring junior staff and preparing for future leadership responsibilities. The Ideal Associate Building Surveyor will have Qualifications: MRICS accreditation with a RICS-accredited degree. Experience: Strong background in commercial property projects and professional services. Skills: Excellent verbal communication, business development acumen, and report-writing abilities. Attributes: Organised, client-focused, and eager to contribute to team growth and success.
