Join a team where your contributions are recognized and celebrated Your Role As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Supporting children with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties. Providing 1:1 and small group support to help students access the curriculum. Encouraging positive behavior and fostering a safe, inclusive learning environment. Assisting with personal care, sensory support, and therapy sessions where required. Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to meet individual needs. Helping students build confidence, resilience, and independence in their learning. What We're Looking For Experience with children in an educational, care, or SEND setting is essential. Knowledge of SEND and strategies to support students with additional needs is important. A positive, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children.
