Financial Controller

A PE-backed media and events business is recruiting for an Interim Financial Controller on an initial 3 month contract to go permanent. This is a key role which will form the basis of the programme to deliver a best-in-class finance function, which the successful candidate will own. As the Interim Financial Controller, you will be: Owning the operational finance function, reporting to the Finance Director Leading on technical reporting and IFRS application for the business and their acquisitions Implementing robust processes and controls Responsible for the delivery on management accounts, day to day activity of finance and developing management information packs for commercial purposes Leading on monthly and quarterly reporting cycles with 13 week rolling cashflow forecasts Preparing VAT returns, payroll, cash forecasting and cashflow management The ideal candidate: ACA qualified from a top 4 accounting firm. Technical candidates from an ACCA background will also be considered Demonstrable experience of technical reporting and in depth understanding of IFRS A high energy and adaptable individual in a fast paced and exciting environment A genuine team player and a proactive sponsor of improving the organisation Apply ASAP to ensure you are considered for this Interim Financial Controller role.
