Job Description

Location: N. Yorkshire Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Package Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Nights) Our client, a leading distribution company based in N. Yorkshire, is seeking a proactive Warehouse Shift Manager to oversee operations during their busy evening shift. The Role: As the Warehouse Shift Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the distribution centre during the late shift. Key duties include managing a dynamic team, ensuring KPIs are met, and maintaining high standards of health & safety. Key Responsibilities: Lead and motivate the late shift team, ensuring effective performance and staff engagement. Monitor and report on operational KPIs, focusing on productivity, quality, and safety. Coordinate with other shift managers to ensure seamless transitions between shifts. Manage resources effectively, including staffing, equipment, and stock levels. Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and customer service. Ideal Candidate: Proven experience in a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain environment, at a Team Leader, FLM, Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Shift Manager level for 5 years. Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate a team in excess of 30 people. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of health and safety regulations. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
