Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor

CappKind is an established professional services provider to the construction industry, regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). We support our clients (both end clients and contractors) with some of the largest capital programmes in the UK and abroad. We are looking for a Quantity / Senior Quantity Surveyor to support our team and provide core commercial services for our clients. The role: Full time, permanent, 37.5 hours per week Site is in Peterborough area and the odd travel to Leeds Up to 2 days working from home per week Provision of commercial services to our clients on various projects To be able to undertake these works you should: Have a degree in a construction or quantity surveying related discipline Have a minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Quantity Surveyor Preferably have experience working on infrastructure projects, such as utilities, highways, rail and/or other civils projects Have an in depth understanding and experience of contractual and commercial processes Have contractor QS experience, taking full responsibility for main contract commercial management and subcontractor procurement/management Have good knowledge of NEC forms of contract Be client focused and able to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships Be self-motivated team player that demonstrates excellent judgement and decision-making skills Remuneration and benefits: £60,000 to £65,000 salary (depending on experience / qualifications) Car allowance Payment of professional fees 25 days holiday entitlement, with option to buy / sell leave Company pension scheme Private healthcare Income protection, life and personal accident insurance 37.5 hours per week with flexible working arrangements
