Full Time, Permanent contract Based in Reading £25,000 - £27,000 salary per annum 8:30 - 3:30 Previous TA experience in any setting requiredWe are looking to welcome a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to the Reading team in the beginning of January to join our support staff community. We provide education to students with additional needs, aged 5-19 years old. The HLTA will be responsible for supporting the Class teacher with day-to-day elements. The HLTA will have the added responsibility of leading classes and delivering tailored learning material. The main duties of the role will include: Implementing student safeguarding and welfare policies Assessing, reporting and giving feedback regarding students' needs and progress Monitor pupils conduct and behaviour throughout the school day Collaborate with SLT to ensure high quality personal care of the students Promote and encourage independence and personal development Work with students on a 1:1 and group basis on education programmes Cooperate with colleagues, professionals and parents with education plansThis role would be well suited to anyone currently working within a school that is looking to progress in their career.
