Technical Insight Specialist - Data Managment Technologies - Chinese Speaking - 12 months contract - Edinburgh Join our Edinburgh Research Centre to advance foundational software technologies, including databases, systems, distributed computing, AI, and more. Collaborate with global academic and industry experts to drive innovation and shape the digital future. Key Responsibilities: Conduct research on database technologies, industry trends, and talent scouting. Assess potential applications for cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with industry experts. Produce concise insight reports and deliver internal technical presentations. Assist in implementing advanced database technologies into products. Required Skills: Strong industry and technical insight capabilities. Knowledge of foundational software (e.g., databases, systems, compilers). Business acumen to identify technology applications and value. Excellent bilingual (Chinese/English) communication and report-writing skills. Collaborative mindset and effective feedback reception. Preferred Qualifications: Background in computer science, engineering, or management. Experience in technical projects or coding languages. Proficiency with Office software.
