Job Description: Oversee project engineering on HVDC projects by managing budgets, ensuring quality, and implementing change processes while supervising in-house and external efforts. Deliver the project scope on schedule, ensuring alignment with procurement, construction, and commissioning, and addressing delivery issues proactively. Conduct regular progress reviews, monitor risks, and prepare comprehensive monthly reports. Optimize resource utilization, ensure adherence to processes, and manage technical interfaces with stakeholders. Ensure on-time, budget-compliant delivery with high-quality documentation. Lead and motivate the team, enforce change policies, and align activities with project specifications. Assess and mitigate risks, maintain an updated risk register, and attend customer technical meetings as needed. Optimize designs to meet contractual requirements and ensure cost-effectiveness while reviewing supplier outputs. Integrate EHS requirements, lead HAZID sessions, and address safety risks effectively. Support subcontracting, procurement, and site activities during preparation, construction, and commissioning. Organize and manage O&M manuals and as-built documentation, ensuring compliance with processes and quality standards. Desired Characteristics Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering Experienced executing projects as a Project Engineering Manager in an EPC type environment in T&D, Power Generation or Oil & Gas industries with a minimum of 2 end-to-end medium scale projects completed in that role. Open to short- or medium-term assignments in various locations and willing to travel globally. Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong leadership abilities are advantageous for effectively managing multi-disciplinary teams and multiple interfaces. Demonstrated ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously, ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery.
