The Opportunity Join Aggregate Industries as a Maintenance Manager at our Isle of Grain site, where you'll oversee all aspects of equipment and facility maintenance. As part of a leading supplier of construction materials, this role offers a unique chance to enhance site performance, safety, and reliability. Key Responsibilities: Manage all planned and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance. Oversee the effective use of plant, equipment, and facilities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Lead, train and build upon the maintenance team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and safety excellence. Maintain accurate records and implement cost-effective maintenance strategies in line with company objectives. Collaborate with operations management to address breakdowns and maintain uninterrupted customer support. Who You Are You’re an experienced Maintenance Manager with a strong technical background and a proven ability to lead teams in a dynamic setting. Your expertise in maintenance strategies and passion for safety make you a standout candidate. Here’s what makes you a great fit: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in engineering, with experience in welding, cutting, and fabricating techniques being desirable. Proficiency in planning and implementing maintenance schedules, with a solid understanding of engineering drawings. Excellent communication and team-working skills, capable of motivating and managing a diverse team. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Ability to adapt to a five-day workweek with occasional weekend work as required, ensuring the smooth operation of the site.
