Look no further Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting supply teachers for a range of positions, including long-term, short-term, and daily bookings across schools in Great Barr Location - Great BarrPosition - Year 3 Primary TeacherType of work - Class Teacher -Contract or position start date - ASAPDuration - Daily and Long termContract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - TemporaryFull time/part time - Full timeMinimum rate of pay - NegotiableHours - 8:20 am - 4pm : Mon - Fri (term time only) Key Responsibilities: · Planning and Teaching: Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the Year 3 curriculum, ensuring each child reaches their full potential.· Assessment and Tracking: Regularly assess student progress and implement effective strategies to support both high-achieving students and those requiring additional support.· Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment that promotes student engagement and well-being.· Collaboration: Work alongside the Year 3 team and other staff members to ensure consistency and high standards in teaching and learning.· Parental Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure open communication and support for the children's academic progress. Experience, Training and Qualifications: · QTS and Experience: It is essential that you have QTS and experience teaching in a school setting in either a permanent or supply cover role.· Safeguarding: Up-to-date Safeguarding training is imperative. If you haven't completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months, Prospero Teaching can provide you with a free course. To be eligible for any job with Prospero Teaching, you must: · Hold Right to Work in the UK.· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application.· Provide two professional child-related references that cover at least the last two years To Apply: If you wish to hear more or have any queries, please call the Birmingham office on .
