Senior Mechanical Engineer

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, development, implementations of technical solutions for our internal and external clients. You will be working on cutting edge projects in the renewable energy and power sectors, contributing to the growth and advancement of the business. Client Details The employer is a well-established entity in the Renewable Energy sector. They are known for their focus on innovation in the Waste-fuel thermal renewable, anaerobic Digestion, Carbon Capture Storage and Usage, Waste and Energy Storage in the UK. Description Support on developing and growing the mechanical engineering team and competence within all sectors of the company To carry out primary design of industrial mechanical systems and be able to specify inquiries for detailed design and construction for internal and external clients To develop and manage mechanical engineering engineering activities or major and minor projects to ensure that they are delivered safely, accurately and on time Ensure that all installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards Perform quality and performance analysis on mechanical worksProfile A successful Senior Mechanical Engineer should have: A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience as an industrial engineer with practical experience Experience in both mechanical design and/or fabrications for both structural steel and process pipework Working knowledge of pressure systems, lifting equipment, storage tanks, structural steel work and process pipework working understanding of P&ID's Experience in project environments Experience leading teams of technical professionals Understanding of mechanical engineering codes and safety standardsJob Offer £62,500, plus a £4,000 car allowance.
