Internal Sales Engineer

Internal Sales Engineer Seeking a strong communicator to help respond to technical queries relating to process automation equipment. Specific product training will be delivered. Ideally you will come from an engineering background and have some experience working with mechanical products / components. Work for a global, well renowned engineering business in a position that offers variety and hybrid working. As Internal Sales Engineer you will become a product specialist when it comes to process and automation equipment provided by the business. This is purely inbound related sales activity with no cold calling / business development duties. The primary function is to resolve any customer queries when it comes to automated machinery. There is a degree of working with CAD drawings and you will get involved with quotations. Salary Guideline: c£35,000 to £40,000 per annum as a guide. Hybrid working opportunities. The Internal Sales Engineer job will involve: Responding to and resolving customer queries relating to process and automation equipment. Preparing quotations and creating schedules. Reading customer drawings to identify parts used on a product. Supporting the sales team with any technical knowledge relating to process and automation. This Internal Sales Engineer job will suit: Proven experience within a technical sales environment. Specific automation sector experience would be ideal, but not essential. We do need someone with some form of engineering qualification / background though. Strong communicator with good commercial awareness, capable of delivering excellent customer service.
