English Lecturer Contract: Full-time, Temporary Salary: £25 - £35 per hour including holiday pay Location: Ipswich A college in Ipswich is seeking an English Lecturer for a temporary position, focusing on GCSE English Language. This role is for an initial period of 1 month, requiring an immediate start, and involves 35 hours of work per week. Day-to-day of the role: Deliver engaging and effective English Language lessons to GCSE students. Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that meet curriculum standards. Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback. Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a positive learning environment. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the curriculum. Required Skills & Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in English. Recognised Teaching Qualification. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one. Proven experience in teaching GCSE English Language. Strong organisational and communication skills.
