The Role We are seeking a dynamic Group HSEQ Advisor to support the Group Head of HSEQ in implementing strategic initiatives across the business. This pivotal role involves promoting a culture of safety, sustainability, and quality across two core business units. You’ll be working closely with diverse teams, supply chains, and contractors to champion health, safety, and environmental standards. This role requires flexibility to travel to project sites across the UK. Key Responsibilities Health & Wellbeing: Champion and implement wellbeing initiatives, provide guidance, and deliver training across projects and offices. Safety: Promote Behavioural Safty Principles. Conduct audits, risk assessments, and training to uphold safety standards. Environment: Lead sustainability efforts, ensure compliance with environmental policies, and support projects with specific impact assessments. Quality: Support ISO 9001 requirements, deliver project-specific quality assurance, and lead lessons-learned initiatives. Project Mobilisation: Assist in site mobilisation, HSEQ documentation, and induction programs. About You We are looking for someone with a passion for HSEQ, who can make a real impact and drive change through innovative and pragmatic solutions. Essential Skills and Experience: In-depth knowledge of HSEQ legislation and standards, including CDM, ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001. NEBOSH General and Construction Certificates (or equivalent). Experience in high-risk industries such as power, utilities, or construction. Strong communication and engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. A practical approach to problem-solving and delivering change. Desired Skills and Qualifications: NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent). Experience in Lean Construction or Six Sigma. Leadership in BBS programs, HAZID processes, and contractor performance management. Training delivery and project management experience
