Job Description

Our business is expanding, and we are looking for a skilled Mechanical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee mechanical aspects of commercial contracts, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate and collaborate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project success. Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring high performance and a safe working environment. Provide technical support and resolve issues that arise during the lifecycle of the project. Ensure all mechanical systems are installed in compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards. Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to stay on track. Regularly report to senior management and stakeholders on project status, risks, and milestones. Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and change orders. Support business development and tendering processes by providing technical expertise. Requirements: Proven experience (5 years) as a Mechanical Project Manager, preferably within the commercial contracting sector. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, commercial contracts, and construction processes. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, contractors, and team members. Sound understanding of project management software and tools. Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or project management. Chartered status (e.g., CEng, MCIBSE, or equivalent) is advantageous.
