Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality and Compliance professional to join our client's team. The Quality and Compliance person will be responsible for ensuring that our organisation adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our operations and safeguarding of our client's reputation. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of quality assurance practices, including HACCP principles. Duties Key point of contact for Quality within the business.• Lead on quality aspects of all internal and external audits such as ISO Review and develop an established quality management system that incorporates design, project management and commercial processes and that is compliant with relevant State and Federal design and building legislation, Regulations and Codes Ensure stakeholders are proactively engaged with and follow the Quality management system and processes that ultimately support strong project, design, and commercial performance. Integrate the QA process within internal supply chain companies. Communicate the importance of having effective processes and meeting the quality management system requirements. Support the success of major process change and business improvement projects and leads the Quality aspect of the internal and external audits Mitigate risk of errors through the design process through the development of clear and comprehensive processes that are applied consistently by the business. Build strong relationships with external stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, project managers and consultants to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Establish operational audit process for live projects and corporate functions and manage the rectification process with a focus on high-risk areas including safety, environment, design and quality. Overall accountability for adherence to the informal review and approval processes through the precontract and design stage of projects at key milestones to minimise significant changes to the design brief that can be costly in time, quality, and cost. Lead the identification of root cause analysis of quality and design issues identified through audits and reviews and support changes and recommendations. Make recommendations to change business processes to mitigate risks around the design and construction of projects across the supply chain and improve the quality of suppliers, consultants, and subcontractors through agreed success criteria. Skills Proven experience in quality control, compliance, and construction management. Strong knowledge of construction regulations, standards, and industry best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills.
