Job Description
Role Overview: Our client is a leading construction and remediation specialist with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the North West. With a commitment to excellence and safety, they are looking to expand their team with a skilled Construction Plant Co-Ordinator to work primarirly within the North West region. Key Responsibilities: Manage maintenance, servicing, and upkeep of all plant and equipment to ensure prompt, flawless, and profitable delivery. Communicate business objectives to the team and ensure company procedures are followed. Compile and submit technical data and plant reports to the Board as needed. Promote the business and ensure compliance with SHEQ procedures. Ensure all owned cabins and equipment are maintained, fit for purpose, and reflect the business image. Monitor and report on damage, causes, effects, and responsible parties. Coordinate transport moves and hire external plant and equipment. Perform random vehicle checks for oil, water, cleanliness, and condition. Review excavator efficiency reports and address performance issues with operators. Record faults and defects weekly on timesheets. Conduct plant inspections to verify operator compliance with required checks. Use cloud-based systems for plant registers and records. Assist in obtaining and renewing key accreditations to enhance tender opportunities.What You'll Need: Demonstrate strong commercial and business acumen. Offer objective perspectives in challenging situations and facilitate collaboration to achieve fair outcomes. Show a strong customer focus. Build and lead successful teams that work harmoniously toward common goals. Coach, mentor, and develop team members, particularly less experienced individuals or newcomers to the industry. Maintain openness, honesty, trustworthiness, and integrity in all business dealings.
