If so, we would love to hear from you We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a thriving SEN through-school in Crowborough. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive environment, providing vital support to students with complex needs. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the delivery of tailored educational programs for students with PMLD, SLD, and ASC. Support individual students and small groups, ensuring they can access the curriculum and engage in learning activities. Work collaboratively with class teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to create a positive learning environment. Contribute to the development of individual learning plans and monitor progress. Promote inclusion and help students develop both academically and socially. Key Requirements: An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service is essential for this role A driving licence and reliable access to a car Experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs, specifically PMLD, SLD, and ASC. A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach to supporting students. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. Ability to follow individualised education plans and adapt to the needs of the students.
