Job Title: Behaviour Support Worker Location: Trafford, Greater Manchester Start Date: ASAP Duration: Until the end of the academic year (July 2025) Contract Type: Long-term temporary Hours: 8:30 am 3:03 pm, Monday to Friday Salary: GBP95 per day About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a compassionate and proactive Behaviour Support Worker to join a dedicated school in Trafford. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in supporting children with challenging behaviours and a passion for making a meaningful impact in their educational journey. As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will: Provide one-to-one and group support for students with behavioural needs. Assist in developing and implementing tailored behaviour plans in collaboration with the SENCO and teaching staff. Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being through structured interventions. Build strong, trusting relationships with students to support their academic and personal development. Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement. Requirements: We are looking for a Behaviour Support Worker who has: Experience working with children with challenging behaviours or additional needs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, staff, and parents. A resilient, patient, and empathetic approach to working with young learners. Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or social work (desirable but not essential). Eligibility: Right to work in the UK. Enhanced DBS certificate on the online update service (or willingness to apply for one). Two professional references covering at least the last two years.
