Prospero Teaching are seeking to appoint a passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) on behalf of a dynamic and inclusive school in Winchester. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning process, working closely with teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons. As a HLTA, you will: Lead small group interventions and support individual students. Assist in the assessment and tracking of student progress. Provide cover for teachers during short-term absences. Support the development of student's social and emotional skills. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.About you: HLTA status or equivalent qualification. Previous experience working as a HLTA or in a similar role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Location - WinchesterPosition - HLTA Contract or position start date - ASAP Duration - Permanent Contract or position end date (if applicable) - N/A Full time/part-time - Full time Hours - 8:30am-3:30pm (hours may vary) Essential & Desirable Qualifications/ requirements: HLTA status- ESSENTIAL Experience working as a HLTA- DESIRABLE To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must: Hold right to work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide references upon request Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
