Functional Skills Tutor - SEND Location: Multiple sites across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, and South Yorkshire Salary: £32,432.40 – £39,998.70 per annum (dependent on experience) Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (8:30 am – 4:30 pm), 52 weeks per year Contract Type: Permanent About the Role: We are working with an independent specialist college to help find a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching in Mathematics, English, and ICT up to Level 2. You will exhibit exemplary teaching skills, have outstanding organisational abilities, and be flexible and adaptable to meet the diverse needs of learners with learning disabilities and difficulties. Standard life pension scheme. 30 days holiday plus bank holidays (additional days added after three years, up to 5 extra days). What are we looking for? You will need to be a Qualified Teacher with QTS/QTLS. Minimum Level 3 in Mathematics and English. Minimum Level 2 in ICT. Experience teaching learners with special educational needs. Proven success in delivering Functional Skills curricula. Familiarity with qualifications from Pre-Entry to Level 2. Any Knowledge of City & Guilds framework and SEND qualifications is highly desirable. What’s next? So how about it?
