Accounts Payable Officer - College - Full-time - Permanent - Richmond Salary: £27,387 to £29,815 per annum inclusive of London Weighting Hours: 36 hours per week Contract Type: Permanent contract Post Type: Full Time Closing Date: Sunday 19 January 2025 At Clarus Education, we are recruiting for a college who are currently seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Officer, to work in their Finance Department based in Richmond. To be considered for the Finance Officer opportunity, you must: Have strong communication skills as the postholder will be required to explain financial concepts to other departments within the business when required and there will be a lot of contact with key stakeholders including internal and external customers and suppliers Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and knowledge of key financial concepts such as accruals and prepayments Have good time management and understanding of accounting systems, journals and month-end responsibilities in order to meet deadlines Person Specification Qualifications Good standard of general education (GCSE or equivalent including Maths and English) Studying for AAT or CCAB Knowledge, Skills and Experience Experience of computerised accounting systems and procedures Understanding of basic principles of accounting Experience in general administrative role Experience working on own initiative Ability to work effectively as part of a team Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Excellent attention to detail Good standard of numeracy Good communication Skills Experience of working on own initiative Effective team member Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Good attention to detail Good communication skills including the ability to resolve difficult situations with staff or customers effectively Experience of working on own initiative Ability to prioritise workload effectively Analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in an Accounts Payable role Apply for this Accounts Payable Officer role by sending your CV to Clarus Education.
