Security Architect

Location: Hybrid (2 days per week in Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh, or Bristol) Contract: 6 months Rate: £680 per day About the Role: We are seeking a Security Architect with customer-facing consultancy experience to support our DevSecOps engineering team. You will play a crucial role in embedding Security by Design across our change portfolio, authoring Security Design documents, and providing expert consultancy on security threats, risks, and controls. Key Responsibilities: Deconstruct and evaluate solution/network architectures Identify and mitigate threats and vulnerabilities Interpret threats into risks and assist in assessing their impact Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Produce and articulate Security Designs Balance risks and benefits of competing security design options Manage multiple challenging projects simultaneouslyEssential Skills: Generalist security design skills DevOps / DevSecOps expertise Hybrid Cloud experienceDesirable Qualifications: Awareness of industry security standards (ISO 27000, PCI DSS, COBIT, NIST, OWASP) Certifications in Security Management (CISSP, CISM, CCSP) or technical Security domains (CEH, OSCP) Experience with Public and/or Private cloud environmentsApply Now: If you meet the above criteria, we would love to hear from you.
