Over the next three years, this will become a large, 20 partner team with 120 people onshore in the UK and a material contribution from technology and off-shore teams.We are well into hiring the right quality partners and are now looking to bring into the team up to 30 people as part of the first wave of recruitment. These five shared values lead every decision we make and action we take, guiding us to deliver impact how and where it matters most.Connect to your opportunity Your role will be to lead teams or workstreams to provide strategic advice, commercial due diligence and M&A expertise to private equity houses, private equity portfolio companies and financial institutions across all sectors.You will deliver services ranging across; quantitative and qualitative commercial due diligence, market, value creation and M&A strategy (as well as support with: assessments, performance improvement evaluations, operational due diligence, value creation planning, synergy development and implementation of value creation plans across the digital and non-digital functions).By developing deep sector knowledge and your own client network, you will support business development activities to grow revenue for the team and assist in achieving our ambitious growth plans.As a Manager, you will have responsibility for:Delivering top-tier quality strategy, CDD and value creation workstreams and projects for our PE and portfolio company clientsDesigning and delivering the analysis to support private equity clients and private equity portfolio companies with both buy and sell side commercial due diligenceInnovating the research and analytics toolkit in a fast-moving technology landscapeImplementing growth strategies and top-line value creation using a broad set of digital and non-digital skillsWorking with colleagues from Transaction Services (Financial Due Diligence), Financial Advisory, Risk Advisory and the broader Deloitte network, to provide our clients with a holistic due diligence and strategy service with a coherent overview of the business operations, performance gaps and the potential for rapid improvement and value creationManaging, mentoring and developing diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contributionSupporting work winning though up-to-date sector knowledge, creating client-ready intellectual property and bringing your experience and credibility to pitchesBuilding distinctive relationships with our private equity clientsConnect to your skills and professional experience Essential:· Experience of delivering at least five Commercial Due Diligence projects for Private EquityDesirableOutstanding problem solving and synthesis skillsStrong business diagnostic and analytical skillsTop tier academic backgroundExcellent communication skills both written and oralExceptional ability to develop PPT decks and slides which clearly communicate messages and findingsDeep commitment to coaching, mentoring or counselling colleaguesAbility to inspire, delegate and manage othersCommitment to investing in diverse talentConfidence to give and receive developmental feedback to partners, directors, senior managers and juniors alikeStrategy consulting background in a top quartile environmentExperience of how Private Equity houses operate and transactExperience or interest in working within the Life Sciences, Energy Transition, TMT or Education sectorsExperience or interest in developing and creating strategy for Private Equity houses to deliver value creationExperience of operating in the upper mid-market and large cap Private Equity space (e.g. for assets / portfolio companies with revenue of 250M)Experience of working across the M&A deal lifecycle and various capacitiesStrong personal relationships with key Private Equity housesExperience of supporting business developmentBuilding client relationships across a number of stakeholdersSelf starter with excellent organisation and prioritisation skillsAbility to deliver results in a fast paced often fluid work environmentFlexibility for international travelConnect to your business - Strategy, Risk & Transactions AdvisoryIn an ever-evolving world, there are no certainties in business.
