Mental Health Assistant - Mortimer, W. Berkshire KS1/KS2 Young People with Social, Emotional and Mental Health/Complex Needs How do you like to make your mark/difference on young people? Become a Mental Health Assistant in your local primary school, particularly for Key stage 1 and Key stage 2 students that have Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. The primary is based in Mortimer, W. Berkshire, based on site Monday - Friday. It is essential for all Mental Health Assistant candidates to be able to commute to and from the Mortimer area. To be able to work successfully, you the opportunity to redirect and negative thoughts/behaviours from the students. Teaching the children the what a postive relationship with others and more importantly their mental health. Social and Emotional Mental Health Support January Start Mortimer, W. Berkshire £83.50 - £90 per day Full-time Mon-Fri 8.30am to 3:30pm Ideal for Psychology/Counselling Graduates or experienced supporting with young children. The children in this primary are aged 5 - 11 years old, so the ideal Mental Health candidate will be confident supporting any age in all year groups, if not please do communicate your strongest ages to support. Qualifications: Degree or level 3 qualification (desirable) Driving licence or local to the Mortimer, W. Berkshire area (desirable) For a more experienced role - to hold 3 years supporting SEMH in children aged 5 - 11 or any other SEN.
