Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant Location: Haringey Salary: £90-£100 per day (depending on experience) Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only Start Date: January Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) to reach their full potential? An inclusive and welcoming secondary school in Haringey is looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team in January. Your Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide tailored support to students with diverse SEN needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities. Assist teachers in creating and adapting lesson materials to suit individual learning styles. Work one-on-one and with small groups to engage students with the curriculum. Promote positive behaviour and social interaction among students. Collaborate with the SENCO and teaching staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Monitor and track student progress, sharing updates with teachers and parents. What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who: Has previous experience working with children with SEN.
