Job Description
Lead and manage the Logistics Department, overseeing all deliveries, despatching, and personnel. Plan, organize, and document delivery schedules, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Coordinate delivery schedules with production to meet customer requirements and delivery dates. Manage the entire fleet, including multiple vehicles and third-party transport services. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and road traffic regulations. Maintain accurate records of stock, delivery schedules, and fuel consumption. Conduct fault-finding inspections and oversee weekly and monthly stock takes. Act as a contingency for the Logistics Administrator, fulfilling duties as required. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Health and Safety and Production Planning Proven experience in a logistics leadership role. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Pastel Accounting. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Knowledge of HACCP and BRC standards is a plus.
