Role Overview As a Chief Technology Officer, you'll spearhead the development and execution of our technology roadmap, ensure the scalability and security of our systems, and align technological initiatives with the company's broader business goals. Your mission: Technology Vision & Strategy: Develop and implement the company's technology vision, ensuring alignment with business goals. Establish scalable tech infrastructure to support rapid growth and expansion into new markets. Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the fintech space to drive continuous innovation. Drive results through relentless execution: Own the technical roadmap, establish clear objectives for the tech team, and hold yourself and others accountable for achieving them. Collaborate closely with cross-functional and product teams to optimize processes and eliminate waste. Inspire and empower your team: Cultivate a collaborative and engaging environment where developers feel valued, challenged, and motivated. Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior and senior developers alike, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Technology Infrastructure & Operations: Oversee all aspects of IT infrastructure, ensuring it meets security, compliance, and scalability needs. Implement processes and frameworks to ensure the security, reliability, and performance of systems. Security & Risk Management: Proactively identify and manage risks associated with technology and data security. Lead cybersecurity strategy and ensure robust protection of sensitive financial data. Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and agility within the tech teams. Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, performance, and scalability of tech operations. Your ideal profile: Problem-solving with a strong hands-on approach when necessary. Results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation. Proven Leadership: 7 years of technology leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role at a similar scale-up and fast-growing company. Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of software engineering, architecture, and cloud technologies. Security & Compliance: Strong understanding of data security, compliance requirements, and experience with securing financial data. Agile Leadership: Proven experience with agile methodologies and managing cross-functional teams. Effective Communication: Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence company-wide technology strategies.
