FLEET AND VALIDATION CO-ORDINATOR BASED: POLAR SPEED DISTRIBUTION LIMITED,UNIT 10 THE HUB, NOBEL WAY, BIRMINGHAM, B6 7EU HOURS : MONDAY - FRIDAY - 40 HOURS PER WEEK - 8am - 5pm SALARY : £28,000.00 PER ANNUM Polar Speed has a reputation for quality, compliance, operational and customer facing technology and monitoring solutions in the growing temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical logistics market in the UK. The company specialises in active temperature-controlled deliveries to hospitals, pharmacies, wholesalers and medical care surgeries as well as to end patients which it serves through its homecare business. Its customers include some of the best known pharmaceutical brands in the world. We currently have a position within our Fleet department, based at our busy Birmingham HUB. You will be required to support the Validation Specialists in all Polar Speed Validation activity. For successful applicants, Polar Speed will process basic disclosure criminal record checks. Key responsibilities: Support the maintenance of validation schedules for vehicles and facilities. Supporting the maintenance/calibration of temperature recording and equipment for validation activities. Support the maintenance of equipment list for calibration and validation to ensure it is up to date and compliant. Support the Validation Specialist in the management of all relevant vendors to the Validation department. Prepare Validation test documents for approval by the Validation Specialist. Support the Validation Specialist with audits and inspections when required, ensuring all issues are escalated in a timely manner. Gain appreciation of regulatory needs of the Validation role. Key Skills/Experience/Requirements: Excellent working knowledge of IT packages: particularly Microsoft packages, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and Oracle. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills with a proactive outlook. The ability to demonstrate experience in setting up and reporting information. Must be able to build effective working relationships with work colleagues and other departments. Resilience to work within a a robust working environment.
