PPA Cover Teacher - Southampton

Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) Teacher to join our Client primary school in Southampton (SO19). Position Details Location: Southampton Position: PPA Teacher Type of Work: Class Teacher Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Temp to Perm Full-Time: 5 days per week, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm (term time only) Rate of Pay: Negotiable based on experience Duration: OngoingKey Responsibilities Deliver engaging and effective lessons across multiple year groups to cover teacher absences. Plan, mark, and assess pupils' work. Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.Experience, Training, and Qualifications Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential, with experience teaching in a school setting (permanent or supply roles). Safeguarding Training: Up-to-date Safeguarding training is mandatory. If you haven't completed this within the last 12 months, Prospero Teaching can provide a free course to ensure compliance.Eligibility Criteria Right to Work in the UK: Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.
