CompEx Electrician - Contract

CompEx Electrician - Leeds - Workshop based. With travel to other sites and locations as required. 6 month Contract. To work in accordance with technical electrical drawings and instructions for fabrication of and installation of cable containment and cabling. To ensure the electrical installation is in compliance with the relevant British standards including the latest revisions. To have a good understanding of the types of work to be carried out (installation of cable containment tray/ladder, installation & termination of SWA cables, earthing & bonding, Lighting etc.) Undertake Electrical Installation work in hazardous areas Undertake CompEx inspections as per IEC requirements To understand and adhere to RAMS. To ensure working areas are kept in a safe, clean and tidy condition. To understand and work in accordance with technical drawings & schedules Ensure the electrical Installation is carried out to a high standard and in accordance with relevant British standards including the latest revision. To attend and engage in regular toolbox talks with electrical Installation personnel. · Qualified to 18th Edition · NVQ level 3 minimum Previously worked on industrial installations eg: (chemical, pharma, water, industrial machinery) · Apprentice Trained / NVQ Level Qualification · JIB Gold Card · Health & safety awareness · CompEx 01-04 · Ability to read schematic, block cable and loop drawings · Installation of cable containment systems, tray/ladder · Termination of cables in to MCC/Control Panels · Termination of cables in to Motors, instrumentation & valves For more information please call me on ADZN1_UKTJ
