Environmental Operative

The Client Our client has supplied environmental works to commercial clients since 2011. They have expanded to encompass almost every type of environmental work. They offer the highest quality work, using the most advanced technology and equipment, across a wide range of environmental requirements. Their services include: Pest control Bird proofing Graffiti removal Void property clearance Building cleaning and sanitising works The Role They are looking for a motivated Operative to support their work on varying sites including Tier 1 contractors, housing associations, and local authorities. You will be open to all types of work. Their ideal candidate will be trustworthy, punctual, have a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn new skills that will later help expand their work. The successful Operative must be dependable, efficient and dedicated to their safety and the safety of their fellow operatives. You should be able to work well as part of a team but also be able to work independently on projects when necessary. Career progression is available for those who show capability, a good work ethic and enthusiasm to learn. Operative experience requirements Essential: CSCS card Ability to work in all weather conditions Ability to follow instructions carefully and correctly with little oversight. Safety on site is incredibly important, and operatives must be aware of the safety standards and practices within the industry Ability to collaborate and work with others Ability to learn quickly UK Driving Licence Desirable: Previous experience with environmental work Some experience on construction sites. Familiarly with equipment such as pressure washers and DOFF (Steam cleaner) Locations Head office – Sydenham SE26 Their work sites are across London and the Home Counties Pay & Benefits £13.00 to £15.00 per hour DOE 5 days a week; Monday to Friday (Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week) Weekend/night work occasionally required which is paid at times and a half All required PPE and uniform will be provided Company pension
