Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Assistant Quantity Surveyor We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a highly regarded main contractor on an upcoming scheme in Guildford. The business is privately owned and has a national presence, undertaking projects across the country within the industrial, residential and commercial sectors valuing up to £100mil. They are currently in the pre-construction phase of an upcoming project in Guildford which will value circa £60mil and consist of new build industrial units and associated works. About the role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor: As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be working closely with a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial aspect of the scheme. You will be involved in projects from the early procurement stage and remain with the project until final accounts have been completed. Key Responsibilities as Assistant Quantity Surveyor: Involvement in pre-construction activities Procurement of various sub-contract packages Dealing with variations Assisting in completing monthly CVRs Key Requirements for this Assistant Quantity Surveyor position: Educated to HNC / Degree level Experience working within a main contractor Be a driven and ambitious individual This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest privately owned main contractors in the UK with ample opportunity to progress and grow with the business.
