The Role: Design Manager As a Design Manager, you’ll ensure technically sound, cost-efficient design solutions that comply with regulations and align with project goals. Key Responsibilities: - Review and validate designs against client expectations and regulatory standards. - Identify value-engineering opportunities and mitigate risks. - Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, CDM standards, and contractual obligations. - Coordinate with planning teams to align designs with construction methods. What You’ll Bring: - Membership in a professional institution (e.g., CIOB, RICS, ICE, RIBA). - Significant experience in large-scale construction or industrial projects. - Proficiency with NEC contracts and knowledge of CDM regulations. - Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
